Alex: was the source overwrite button supposed to take the new clip and overwrite it literally on track one rather than placing it on top on track 2? Seems like (at this point) both buttons do the exact same thing as in they place the new clip on the next top track.

    Your thoughts?

In any event thanks for the mini tutorial..

My question is a-lot of tutorials always show you 2 (or more) clips where the cameras never cut. What happens when you have hours of footage and the cameras cut (whether they were supposed to or not). Can Resolve handle auto sync by audio for more then one take?
Say each of the cameras cut multiple times – and I don’t want 10 different sync bins for each take? Id like all of the takes on one sequence.

The way I use multicam is to cut together 5 cameras. I do the switching in real-time and need to see all the cameras simultaneously, so I don’t know how this new multicam workflow would function for me. Any suggestions?

On the cut tab can you still view and play all the clips in the sync bin simultaneously and switch from one camera to another in the edit just like you can on the edit page with a multicam track? Or do you need to go to the regular edit tab to do that?
